Living on the edge of the shores of the great Quabbin Reservoir, Les Campbell’s “yard” is full of the local flora and fauna and
magnificent landscapes of this part of New England. In another “yard” he captures the picturesque rural New England farmstead.
His lens captures the native wildlife in action with a respect for the natural landscape.
His lense reflect New England’s bountiful and beautiful natural environments. His personal approach to photography is
straightforward, pictorial documentation of the subjects. The intent and emphasis is on capturing the essence of the subject at a
particular time. The composition and lighting are second only to the all-important “decisive moment” of exposure.
Les Campbell is among the best-known photographers of the Pioneer Valley. His work has appeared in National Geographic
and National Audubon and he has received many honors from the Photographic Society ofAmerica.  Les Campbell operates the
Sky Meadow Gallery in Belchertown, MA. Vist their website at http://www.lescampbellphotography.com/ .
