Page by page, the history of Fitchburg comes to life in a new book by local
writer and historian Anne O'Connor. Her book, “Fitchburg, The Old Hometown”,
touches upon a variety of topics over the past 1,300 years, including Native
American history, open space, health care, immigration, athletics, education,
transportation, social services, arts and parks and industry.
The book includes a number of historical photographs and incorporates
personal stories from O'Connor's own life, those of members of her family, and
people she knows.  O'Connor said the book is an honest portrayal of the city and
its people over the course of time.
Anne O'Connor has a very
limited supply of these books
left.  Get your copy before
they are history!

Her book is available at the
Gallery and we can arrange
for them to be personalized if
you wish.

The perfect gift for that
