| I live in Leominster but my home is Fitchburg. Fitchburg is the hub of a major effort and activity surrounding the schools, parks and churches, Fitchburg State University, the Fitchburg Art Museum, Historical Society, Stratton Theater the Cultural Alliance and our local Galleries. Fitchburg gently houses the arts, and is a stimulating incubator for them. No wonder it feels like home. For me it has been a slow professional advance into the arts. Its only lately I can devote the time to my work and the passion of revealing the romantic nature of our places, our people and our collective memory. I have won many local awards for my work and received the honorable title of Fitchburg's Millennium Artist in the year 2000. I continue my investment of time and will soon begin a blog to help others discover the wonders of New England from the larger focus to the smaller. |
