In the Spring of 2004, I traveled the roads of the Mohawk trail on numerous occasions. I enjoyed the natural beauty of the trail, but it was the waterfalls truly captured my attention. They were colorful and tranquil at times, other times fierce and deadly, but somehow always soothing and comforting. By the Fall, I was both inspired and intrigued. Could I capture these gorgeous views and preserve them on camera? I've never had a strong desire to take pictures, photography was never something I gave much thought to, until I started taking pictures of waterfalls. Little did I know at that time, how much beauty I missed in the world around me. Looking through the lens of a camera gave me sight. Waterfalls are my passion at this time, however, I have been expanding my creativity and taking pictures of pets and children. They can be challenging at times, but just like waterfalls, candid and pure. I am confident that within a year, I will probably have some extremely unique photos to add to my portfolio. My camera and I do not plan to separate, I do believe I have found my love. |
