IVER JOHNSON BICYCLE COLLECTION
|
Shown below are badges used on the Iver Johnson bicycles dating from 1896 to 1941. It is well known that prior to 1896, Iver
Johnson manufactured bicycles for other companies, like the high wheel "Springfield Roadster" and a complete line of cycles
for the J. P. Lovell Company. However, the main focus of my interest, and my collection, has always been with bicycles that were
made in my hometown of Fitchburg, that were badged "Iver Johnson", and for three early years, "Fitchburg". The first year the
company badged their bicycles with their own name, was 1896.
