This is a very rare 1907 Iver Johnson Model 90, 22' Men's Truss Frame "Semi Racer" in Iver Johnson black. On the front headtube is the original and perfectly preserved, pre-21 Iver Johnson badge. This bike is in very nice original "as found" condition, with serial 124660 stamped on the underside of the bottom bracket. The original 28" x 1 1/2" Crescent maroon and black painted wood wheels are in absolutely fantastic original condition, and the bike is sitting on an extremely rare set of cream colored "Iver Johnson Oil Proof" single tube tires. The 36 spoke rear wheel is laced to a Corbin Duplex Model 8 coaster brake hub with a very nice 32 spoke Iver Johnson hub up front. The 1" pitch "Snowflake" chain ring has 26 teeth with 7" crank arms, and is mated to a 9 tooth rear sprocket. The original Iver Johnson #25 handlebars with forward extension stem and original wood and leather grips are still in place. An outsanding feature on this bike is the extremely rare, optional, spring fork. 1907 was the first year that Iver Johnson offered this rarely seen and elusive option. A Model #29 Troxel "Eagle" Men's long spring saddle and Men's Bridgeport rat trap pedals finish off the period look. All in all, a nicely preserved example of an Iver Johnson bike that is rarely seen in any condition.
