Coggshall Park Fundraiser

In conjunction with the Friends of Coggshall Park, the Boulder Art Gallery, the
Fitchburg Recreation Department, the Mayor’s Office, and the Fitchburg ME Federal
Credit Union will be selling raffle tickets to raise funds to help rebuild the Stone House
at Coggshall Park. Tickets are $2.00 each or three for $5.00 and are available now at
any of the above locations.

The winner of the raffle will have first choice of any one of two paintings by local artist
Jim LeBlanc. The second ticket drawn will receive the remaining painting. The
paintings, “Time Remembered” and “A Moment in Time” depict different but similar
scenes of ice-skating at Coggshall with the Stone House in the background.  The
drawing will be held in late April or early May, during the Stone House dedication.

Jim LeBlanc is a lifelong Fitchburg resident who recently retired from his custodial job
in the Fitchburg school system. He has been painting since age 11. The paintings
were inspired by his favorite season, winter. The paintings are available for viewing
at the Boulder Art Gallery or the Fitchburg Federal Credit Union.
